I run this site with the hope of supporting the Oigawa Railway, which continues to run despite repeated natural disasters, and the beautiful scenery along its lines.

It is a wonderful tourist destination, but I felt it was losing out due to difficult access and booking systems, so I started organizing and sharing information.

I hope this site helps as many people as possible to visit this amazing place.

Purpose of this Site

This is an unofficial fan site dedicated to promoting the charms of the Oigawa Railway in Shizuoka Prefecture, Sumatakyo Onsen, and the Ikawa Line (Southern Alps Abt Line).

The Oigawa Railway has wonderful tourism resources that can be enjoyed by everyone, not just railway fans, such as the Steam Locomotive (SL), Thomas the Tank Engine, and the only Abt system train in Japan. However, it is also in a difficult situation, with some sections suspended due to repeated disasters.
